Many of the youth who were trained and inspired by our organization in their formative years have gone on to do well as scientists, technologists, medical practitioners, creative artists, educators, etc.

The Creative Foundation is a Winnipeg after school registered charitable organization on a journey of discovery and transformation. It is dedicated to advancing education, youth empowerment, and positive social impact. The Creative Foundation opened its first location at #1615 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg in 2023. This is after two decades of space provision by the Red River College Polytechnic (RRC Polytech) where our first event took place in 1999. We are excited that we now have our own suitable space to mentor, teach, inspire and provide life-changing programming to our youth. We would like to offer our congratulations to the visionary leader, Mr. Yisa Akinbolaji, C.M, founder of the Creative Foundation for being appointed a member of the Order of Canada in 2023, for his innovations as an esteemed visual artist and for his mentorship of youth in the province of Manitoba.
Our Story

🎨 Welcome to the Creative Foundation where we empower youth aged 8 to 17 through Visual Arts, Coding, Web Design, Basic Science, and Mentorship. Founded in 1999 initially  with support from Red River College Polytechnic, The Creative Foundation proudly opened its first dedicated location at #1615 St. Mary's Road, Winnipeg in 2023—a major milestone in our mission to educate, and motivate young learners early in life.

Through our transformative programs, we spark creativity, promote academic excellence, and encourage healthier choices.
